SEVERE TROPICAL STORM FRANCISCO FURTHER INTENSIFIES WHILE MOVING OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA.
Location of Center (4:00 AM):
The center of Severe Tropical Storm FRANCISCO was estimated based on all available data at 1,315 km East of Southeastern Luzon (14.8°N, 133.9°E).
Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 100 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 125 km/h, and central pressure of 985 hPa.
Present Movement:
West northwestward at 25 km/h
Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds:
Strong to storm-force winds extend outwards up to 420 km from the center
